By some stroke of luck, I seem to have passed one of my geology classes by the skin of my teeth...so this term is shaping up to be better than last term, mostly because hey, failing a class is like rock bottom right? So writing this last paper for the Worst Anthropology Class Ever (taught by Dr. Favortitist Anthropology Professor, coindidentally) will close up this term. Good fucking riddance.

Had a transfusion yesterday, and although I needed platelets too, it was just barely. They were higher than I expected...hell, all my counts were higher than I expected. I've been taking some new chinese herbal thingies from ...no really. She wears these glasses that look like she's about to enter a luge competition. She's true blue Eugenian, a crazy weird mix of hippy and yuppy...LL Bean and McKenzie Outfitters clothing and talks all oldschool, having studied under a chinese acupucturist from CHINA, you know...and has this little dog that kinda looks like a hairy turd but you can't help liking either of them once you get to know them and they seem to be helping. Stay the course, listen to your doctors, don't do anything rash, just do what you're told and you'll be fine.

Am super stoked to be going home tomorrow, getting the hell out of town. As much as I love Eugene and the people and the atmosphere...sometimes you just need a change of scenery. I liken it to a cat who's had too much pleasure and then starts biting you, you know? Just had enough and need something different. So going home to the Coos, hoping to avoid getting this cough that's lingering in my chest...hang out with my girls and maybe shoot some lovely coastaly stuff. *le sigh* just to bask in my parents' radness and get homecooked meals.
