Saving lives just isn't what it used to be.

It occurred to me the other day, "what if he feels guilty for what happened? Does he think that if I never got diagnosed then I would have never gone to the hospital and things would have turned out differently?" Which is a) probably the most unlikely thing I've ever thought since he wouldn't feel that way, and b)not true because I would have died had it not been for him. He literally saved my life.

Although he probably doesn't think that way. A lot has happened in the last year and a half, at least for the outside world. There are days with him that I remember as vividly as if they happened last week. And besides, we can't forget about Easter. I can't help but laugh kind of and wonder WTF was going on in his brain. And then I wonder if I'll ever see him again.

Enough about that though. Yesterday was payday. Payday = fuzzy bunnies. Not only does my phone work again (I will KILL, but I bought a few summer clothes (I always forget how warm it is here in the summer, and I hate wearing spaghetti strap-tank tops to work because I think it's unprofessional so I had to pick up some other kinds of summer/work clothes. It's always gotta be safe for work) and the irony of it all is that it looks like it's going to rain this morning. Which really sucks because I WANT to wear that new shirt. :-(

Hung out with Craig/Ryan last night and he/we cooked dinner and then watched some Buffy. Am slowly converting, although I have some major beef with it. Although Joss Whedon is a genius in his own right, as a second degree black belt, was ranked 2nd in the region for my age group, was personally invited to Internationals (which is like the Olympics for Martial Arts) four years in a row, have sparred adult black belt men in their own division and taken second place out of eight adult black belt men and myself and was a Tae Kwon Do instructor for three years...I think I know a little bit about fighting. And you do not, under any circumstances, turn your back on your opponent. Sure, it looks cool, but a) the momentum that you pull from the spin actually decreases your overall power in your hit, and b)turning your back on your opponent is just asking for trouble.'s just stupid. But overall, a good fun evening.

And tonight, "The Emperor's New Groove" with Suz, Dave, and Lindsey. Yay! Llamas and friends!
