amelia coast

(no subject)

It's not that I don't have a good work ethic, it's just that I've never had good enough motivation to invoke this great work ethic I like to keep tucked inside me. It doesn't help when your boss starts telling anyone that will listen that you aren't a reliable worker anymore (read: I was in the hospital) and talking to people like I didn't have anything wrong with me and that I was making up the whole hospital thing.

I hate [most] Geminis.

I'm slowly getting back into the groove of things. Getting out and doing things is a lot more exciting than staying at home worrying about death.

Suz and I piled into the "FSK EES" Honda with Jeanne, Jon (who was shorter, more British, and a lot nicer/funnier than I imagined him), and Marcia on the way to the airport. For like an hour, we got to update eachother on everything. And although there was no Adam Ragle to be found at the Eugene Airport, we still sat at a table in the lounge with milkshakes, reminiscing about high school (except for Jon, who had no idea what was going on, but was still able to have valuable input on who kissed who, and where was he now?) which was nice. It always amazes me how many friends you make in college, but how many you keep from high school.

I finished a book by Jennifer Weiner, "Goodnight Nobody" and I encourage you all to go find it and read it NOW.

the end.
